Co-facilitated by expert yoga teacher Pamela Bliss and Haute Yoga’s very own theater actor, Brandon Leis. This workshop blends the introspective practice of yoga with the expressive nature of theater to create a safe and transformative space for self-discovery.
Workshop Overview:
Yoga for Vulnerability: Enjoy a grounding yoga flow with an emphasis on poses that require both strength and surrender, such as heart-openers and grounding postures, to cultivate emotional openness.
Theater-Based Vulnerability Exploration: Through guided theater exercises, we will explore emotional expression, improvisation, and movement. Brandon will lead you through activities that challenge your comfort zone, through role-playing, non-verbal communication, and storytelling. Express your feelings in a safe, creative way, to break down barriers and allow for authentic emotions to surface.
Integrating Yoga & Theater: Integrate what you’ve experienced by combining yoga postures and expressive movements, bridging the gap between the physical body and the emotional self to facilitate deeper self-awareness.
Group Reflection & Closing: We will conclude with a guided meditation, and group reflection to share insights, breakthroughs, and experiences.
What you will takeaway:
A deeper understanding of how your vulnerabilities can become sources of strength.
Experience the healing power of both physical and emotional expression.
The fusion of yoga and theater offers a holistic approach to self-improvement, to tap into your most authentic and empowered self.
This unique workshop is perfect for anyone looking to deepen their self-awareness, build emotional resilience, and express themselves more freely in their everyday lives.
